Contact Person: Rev. Dr. Mike Hoyt and John Byce
This group meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month (except July) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at The Community Tap, 205 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29609. The group gathers for a time of fellowship and discussion of the Scripture. The name of this informal Bible study group comes from the casual discussions that Martin Luther would have with friends around the dinner table. Students and fellow reformers would flock to Luther's table for the food and drink and stick around for the conversation. Many of these conversations were recorded by students and later published as "Table Talk."
This group tries to recreate this type of setting and encourage a fellowship-based discussion of scripture. What better place to meet than in the back of a beer store in the North Main neighborhood. The Community Tap has agreed to host this group. Light food is provided and drinks are available for purchase.

Bible Study: "Feasting on the Word"
Teacher: Rev. Debbie Kyser
Feasting on the Word based on the lectionary passages for each Sunday, so we study how the passages speak to each other to gain a deeper understanding of their meaning and importance.
There is a small amount or reading - four to six short Bible passages each week and four paragraphs of commentary. I pass out the materials for this on the first day of class. There is a small fee of $15 to help defray the cost of downloading the materials, which covers the entire year.
We meet from mid-September through early May. We are a very congenial group, always happy to have new people join. We enjoy table fellowship and plenty of laughter as well as serious Bible study.
If you have any questions, please feel free to give Debbie Kyser a call at 864-593-8361.
Presbyterian Women Circles
Presbyterian Women includes all the women of Fourth Presbyterian Church, seeking fellowship, mission and bible study as sisters in Christ.
This year we have three small groups, “circles,” that will engage in different Bible studies. Take a look at the information below to see if you are interested in participating in one this year. Circles meet on the second Tuesday of each month. The Bell Mebane Circle will no longer meet due to changes in schedules of the members.
o Circle 2 meets at 10:30 am in classroom 24 (October through April), and Susan Chisholm is circle leader. They will study a text by Adam Hamilton.
o Circle 3 meets at noon in the Mildred Crymes classroom (October through April). Members bring a lunch. Vonnie Vance is the circle leader. They will study the 2019 Horizon Bible Study on The Ten Commandments.
o Circle 4 meets at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall (September through May). Jan Welch and Donna Wallace are the circle leaders. They will study The First Paul by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crosson. Beth Templeton will lead the study.
